1812 Great Lakes Gunboat

Here are a couple of photos of my "Privateer" that I painted up for our club's big "Pirate Game Day." I named the ship after an actual 8-gun Brig which was used as a Privateer out of Portsmouth, NH during the American Revolution. I can use it as a gun boat on the Great Lakes during the War of 1812. I have a total of twenty crew members which can be used as the crew for the boat as well as a landing force. The smaller ship's boat is a kit that my friend AJ designed from his laser cutter. It is very simple to assemble and looks really good for this time frame. I have several more of the kits to assemble to use with my Queenstown Heights scenario. This boat will look much better when I get it stained.
